Dhashi and Ananth's Engagement

How good was today. This morning was spent at the wedding ceremony 'engagement'. All around introducing Ananth and Dhashi and then their families meeting one another.

I think other than a marriage ceremony, an Indian wedding is a festival of eating; and how good is the food. I can't describe it (I'm too lazy to type), but it seems at every key moment there is a break for food.

I haven't asked yet about the meaning but the first part was all around Ananth's preparation.

Then we were introduced to Dharshi (soooooooooooo beautiful). Then the families met one another exchanged gifts, and then (after more food) introduced Dharshi and Ananth to each of the families or in-laws or outlaws.

Ananth and Dhashi were introduced to the families and then presented for photos with the families and guests while family members sang songs on stage. All so, so, so cool.

I guess you have to be there to believe.

Tomorrow morning is the wedding.
