We changed our minds and only went as far as Kollam today (by Taxi), instead of going all the way to Alapurzha. We will travel there tomorrow morning by boat on the Kerala Backwaters.
This morning I ordered the ‘French Breakfast’ at one of the cafes along the beach. As described on the menu i
t came with a cigarette; Croissant, Café Latte and Cigarette.And yes Sophie, we’ve bought you another present.
Attached are some more photos as we’ve explored the beach in Kovalam over the past couple of days. There is also a picture of Margaret and David (TC met them on the overnight Trivandrum Mail train); they came to Kovala for the day and we had lunch with them.

t (just like home). We went for a walk to expore around Kollam until the rain started. Tomorrow we are going to applepey on a boat (80-90km) further north.

It's the only thing that tempts me to turn on the computer.
It's hot here...bloody hot. 43 degrees tomorrow and four 40 degree days in a row. By the time you get home we might all have melted.
